1996 to Present: Metland Properties Group, Inc. merged with Weichert, where Mr. Calabro continues to be active in land and commercial brokerage. He exclusively works with national, regional and local developers in their search for residential and commercial development opportunities and also represents private and public landowners as their exclusive agent. He has been involved in many successful RFPs, sealed bid sales and Best and Finals. Mr. Calabro has consistently been one of the top brokers in Weichert Land.
1994-2013: Mr. Calabro led a home building/development company in multiple residential communities from acquisition and approvals through the installation of site improvements and home construction.
1992-1995: Mr. Calabro joined Metland Properties Group, Inc. an affiliated company of Weichert Realtors. As a regional director of marketing and development, he provided consulting and marketing/brokerage services for financial institutions, government entities and private landowners. He has worked on transactions consisting of single properties as well as portfolios of thirty plus properties. He also provided construction management services for residential projects including a 200+ unit townhouse project for a financial institution. The following is a sample listing of clients: Nat West, Bank of New York, RTC, FDIC, Toll Brothers, K. Hovnanian and Segal & Morel.
1987-1992: Mr. Calabro worked for local developers as a project manager, responsible for processing approvals, market research and marketing of various residential and commercial projects in New Jersey and New York.
1984-1986: Mr. Calabro, as a licensed real estate salesperson, was responsible for over $20 million in new home sales as a builder’s representative.
Mr. Calabro received a Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development and Investment from New York University. He is a licensed real estate broker in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
