Jim Weichert, president, chairman and CEO of the Weichert Companies, is pleased to announce that Michael Cadematori has been named the company’s chief financial officer.

A longtime senior level finance executive and operations professional with 30 years of financial experience in many industries, Cadematori proudly exudes a record of achievement in building finance organizations, integrating acquisitions, and implementing financial and operating systems in large and midsized companies. Prior to joining Weichert, he spent 13 years at NRT LLC, a division of Realogy Holdings Corporation, most recently as regional vice president and CFO for the Eastern Seaboard region.

John Udell, president of Weichert Development Company, is pleased to announce that Mark Calabro has been named vice president of acquisitions. In this role, Calabro will be responsible for all aspects of land development and acquisitions, including planning and research, site selection, due diligence review, managing entitlements, negotiations and contracting.

Calabro has spent more than 20 years at Weichert, having most recently held the position of senior vice president for Weichert Commercial Brokerage, where he worked with clients searching for residential and commercial development opportunities and also represented private and public landowners as their exclusive agent. Prior to joining Weichert, Calabro was regional director of marketing and development for Metland Properties Group, Inc. and also gained valuable experience as a project manager for local developers, selling new homes as a builder’s representative and providing construction management services for residential projects.

A graduate of Rutgers University, Calabro earned a master’s degree in real estate development and investment from New York University. He is a licensed real estate broker in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
